BCT (Business Chinese Test) Prep Course (A)

I. Test Content
The Business Chinese Test (BCT) (A) consists of 70 questions divided into three parts: listening, reading, and writing.

The entire exam takes about 70 minutes (including 5 minutes for candidates to fill in their personal information).
1. Listening
Part 1 consists of 10 questions. Each question is played twice. Each question is a word or phrase, and a picture is provided on the exam paper. Candidates need to determine whether the statement is true or false based on what they hear.
Part 2 consists of 10 questions. Each question is played twice. Each question is a sentence, and three pictures are provided on the exam paper. Candidates need to choose the corresponding picture based on what they hear.
Part 3 consists of 10 questions. Each question is played twice. Each question is a dialogue between two people, and a third person asks a question based on the dialogue. Three options are provided on the exam paper, and candidates need to choose the correct answer based on what they hear.
2. Reading
Part 1, 10 questions in total. The first 5 questions provide one or two sentences or dialogues with a blank space, and candidates need to choose a word from the provided options to fill in the blank. The next 5 questions provide a table or a short application text with 5 blank spaces, and candidates need to choose a word from the provided options to fill in the blank.
Part 2, 20 questions in total. The test paper provides a series of reading materials, such as pictures, tables, paragraphs, and chapters, each with one to three questions, and candidates need to choose the answer from 3 options.
3. Writing
There are 10 questions in total. Each question provides a sentence with a blank space, and candidates are required to write the correct Chinese character or word in the blank according to the pinyin hint.

III. Score System
Business Chinese Test BCT (A) score report provides test takers with scores for each section and overall score, without a passing score; the report also includes ability descriptions for test takers in different score ranges.
The BCT (A) test consists of three sections: listening, reading, and writing, with a total score of 300. For more information on the scoring system, please refer to the table below:
