When introducing your pet, you can talk about their personality traits and daily habits to give others a sense of their unique character. Here are some simple phrases to describe different aspects of your pet in Chinese.

My cat is very friendly and playful.

我的猫很友好，也很爱玩。

Wǒ de māo hěn yǒuhǎo, yě hěn ài wán.

My dog is quiet and calm.

我的狗很安静，很温顺。

Wǒ de gǒu hěn ānjìng, hěn wēnshùn.

He’s a little shy around new people.
