Our Story
Let's go back to 2013 . I worked as an Software Engineer in a travel company. I have heard that many tourists to Xi'an are distressed because they cannot speak Chinese. My wife Ivy is an experienced teacher who teaches Chinese as a foreign language for many years. We want to do something meaningful. We think can cooperate and use our expertise to help the foreigners who want to learn Chinese.
We knew the experienced teachers in an educational institution is the most important. The more, the better. So at the start of 2013, our friends and co-founder Doris, we put our heads together. Since we are very familiar with this field, we know what we should do and how we should do.
So first,We did a survey about different learners, to know more about their needs; Hired linguistic experts, to design the curriculum system; Recruited experienced teachers, and gave them systematic training; Design the Web and develop the website backstage.
Within about 10 months, we created ChineseLearning.Com. On October 20th 2013, we had the first student. Eight years on, tens of thousands of students from over 100 countries have enjoyed high quality service of ChineseLearning.Com!
