Children Story-The Fox and the Tiger-hu jiɑ hu wei-狐假虎威

One day, there was hungry tiger was looking for food in the forest when he saw a fox pass by.
一天，一只饥饿的老虎正在森林里寻找食物的时候，发现一只狐狸路过。 
yì tiān，yì zhī jī è de láo hǔ zhènɡ zài sēn lín lǐ xún zhǎo shí wù de shí hou，fā xiàn yì zhī hú li lù ɡuò。 

He caught the fox, and opened his mouth, was about to eat it.
他抓住狐狸，张开嘴，准备吃掉它。 
tā zhuā zhù hú li，zhānɡ kāi zuǐ，zhǔn bèi chī diào tā。 

The fox yelled:"My dear sir, listen to me first. As we all know, you're the king of beasts, but you can't eat me, because I was sent by God to be the king of kings.If you eat me, you'll be severely punished by God."
狐狸大叫道：“亲爱的大王，您先听我。众所周知，您是百兽之王，但是你不能吃我，因为我是上帝派来的万王之王。如果你吃了我，上帝将会严厉的惩罚你。” 
hú li dà jiào dào：“ qīn ài de dài wɑnɡ，nín xiān tīnɡ wǒ。zhònɡ suǒ zhōu zhī，nín shì bǎi shòu zhī wánɡ，dàn shì nǐ bù nénɡ chī wǒ，yīn wèi wǒ shì shànɡ dì pài lái de wàn wánɡ zhī wánɡ。rú ɡuǒ nǐ chī le wǒ，shànɡ dì jiānɡ huì yán lì de chénɡ fá nǐ。” 

The tiger didn't belive his words.
老虎不相信他的话。 
láo hǔ bù xiānɡ xìn tā de huà。 

The fox said again:"If you don't belive me,then,I can walk in front of you and see if all the animals are afraind of me."
狐狸又说：“如果你不相信我，那么，我可以走在你的前面，看看所有的动物是不是都害怕我。” 
hú li yòu shuō：“rú ɡuǒ nǐ bù xiānɡ xìn wǒ，nà me，wǒ ké yǐ zǒu zài nǐ de qián miɑn，kàn kɑn suó yǒu de dònɡ wù shì bu shì dōu hài pà wǒ。” 

The tiger agreed.
老虎同意了。 
láo hǔ tónɡ yì le。 

The fox walk forward swaggering up, and the tiger behind him carefully.
狐狸大摇大摆地向前走，老虎小心翼翼地跟在他身后。 
hú li dà yáo dà bǎi de xiànɡ qián zǒu，láo hǔ xiǎo xīn yì yì de ɡēn zài tā shēn hòu。 

All the animals were too scared and ran away immedicately when they saw the tiger behind the fox.
所有的动物都太害怕了，当他们看到狐狸身后的老虎时，都立刻跑开了。 
suó yǒu de dònɡ wù dōu tài hài pà le，dānɡ tā men kàn dào hú li shēn hòu de láo hǔ shí，dōu lì kè pǎo kāi le。 

The fox looked at the tiger proudly.
狐狸洋洋得意地看向老虎。 
hú li yánɡ yánɡ dé yì dì kàn xiànɡ láo hǔ。 

The tiger felt surprised with the thought that the fox scared those animals.
一想到狐狸吓跑了那些动物，老虎就觉得很吃惊。 
yì xiǎnɡ dào hú li xià pǎo le nà xiē dònɡ wù，láo hǔ jiù jué dé hěn chī jīnɡ。 

So, he let the fox go.
于是，他放走了狐狸。 
yú shì，tā fànɡ zǒu le hú li。 

However, he didn't realise that it was him that the beasts were really afraid of in fact.
然而，他没有意识到，事实上野兽们真正害怕的是他。 
rán ér，tā méi yǒu yì shí dào，shì shí shànɡ yě shòu men zhēn zhènɡ hài pà de shì tā。
